One of our customers bought this credenza off FB Marketplace. She wanted to make it into an island in her remodeled kitchen. The main problem was that it was too short. A typical kitchen island is 38 inches tall; the credenza was 30.

A great deal of planning, time, and effort went into customizing this piece, but we did it! We removed the base, added a tray to give the credenza height (which we stained to match), and then put the base back on. We added middle legs for support, an electrical box, and repaired some drawer tracks. We also finished and stained the back of the credenza, so it would look nice from the other side.
Our client loves it!
